Aims and Scope

As the flagship journal of the Society of Korea Industrial and Systems Engineering, Journal of Society of Korea Industrial and Systems Engineering launched in 1978 publishes original high-quality papers on a wide range of topics of interest to industrial engineers who want to remain current with the state-of-the-art technologies. It aims to foster the engineering and business administration community by publishing papers with a strong methodological focus motivated by real problems that impact engineering practice and research. It is composed of various focus issues: design and manufacturing, operations engineering and analysis, quality and reliability engineering, intelligent information systems, scheduling and logistics and business administration. The journal published quarterly in March, June, September and December each year. The official title of the journal is 'Journal of Society of Korea Industrial and Systems Engineering' and the abbreviated title is 'J. Soc. Korea Ind. Syst. Eng.'. All submitted manuscripts are peer-reviewed by three reviewers. The text may be written in Korean or English. The abstract, acknowledgement, and references should be written in English. Some, or all, of the articles in this journal are indexed in Korea Citation Index (KCI). Manuscripts should be sent to the editorial office by the website, 'http://ksie.ne.kr' that is the URL address of the journal where full text is available. This journal was supported by the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies(KOFST) Grant funded by the Korean Government.
